6th INTERNATIONAL INVENTION, INNOVATION & DESIGN COMPETITION
"Innovation in the Quest for Excellence"
For the 6th year consecutively, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Cawangan Perak is organizing the International Innovation, Invention and Design Competition (INDES 2017) with the theme "Innovation in the Quest for Excellence" on 6th, 7th and 8th of November 2017.
This year, INDES 2017 is jointly organized with IIPC of Politeknik Ungku Omar under the patronage of K-Perak, the state government agency. Through this strategic partnership, it is expected that more than 200 groups will be participating in this event ranging from lecturers, students, researchers, industries and also the general public.
More information regarding the competition is available in the Categories and Awards section of this website. This programme will serve as a platform for young researchers, inventors, and innovators to showcase their products of commercial value. This year, it will be bigger than ever!
Objectives of INDES 2017:
To display the invention, innovation, and designs by local and international researchers
To support product and prototype design and innovation that are of high quality and commercial value
To increase research for innovation with the creation of new products and prototypes, including innovation product
To uphold the nation’s innovation culture by producing new research talents among young academia, university, high school and primary school students
To serve as a meeting place for inventors, innovators and designers to create networks and sahre ideas for the betterment of the future
